Shrouds of the Somme

Back in November, there was a week-long art installation on College Green - Shrouds of the Somme, a very moving representation of the 19,240 people killed on the first day of the Battle of the Somme in July 1916. Autumn on the Downs

For some reason, I particularly noticed some beautiful weather on the Downs in Bristol this autumn, to the extent that I had to get off the bus and take photos - this happened on 3 occasions, once for mist, once for fog and finally for a heavy hoar frost. It may well be that I've actually got a phone with a decent camera (LG G4), so impromptu photography is much more possible than it was - although I was prepared for the third set and took my compact camera with me.
